Keith Abbott (b. 1963) is heavily influenced by the spirituality of art, steeped in philosophy and history.  It is with this approach that he sets out to create a meditative quality to his work and draws the viewer to access their own inner world, which transcends culture and belief. He believes art has the possibility to provide knowledge of the world in a way that is more profound than science or everyday experience. Keith Abbott's work reacquaints us with the intangible recesses that encircle our daily existence, it is a vehicle to better grasp invisible realms that science still cannot.

From his European roots, through his studio work around the world, to the south pacific he now calls home, his works are truly expressive of a larger world view. Early in his career, Keith was introduced to a broad range of philosophies that have guided a quest for metaphysical perfection in his current body of work.
